So I found this article from University of California, Berkeley. It does not say that running is better, but it says that running is faster in achieving weight loss results compared to walking. It also says that walking is safer on the body.
“Albeit running is ‘in the long run’ better for weight loss, as shown in a study done at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, its other benefits can also be achieved through walking.”
“...while walking can give one the same benefits as running, one would have to walk longer to cover the same grounds as a runner in order to receive comparable results. However, unlike running, where both feet could be off the ground for a short time, walking requires at least one foot on the ground at all times, lowering the stress impact on the body and the likelihood of injuries.”
So I guess I was wrong in that running is “healthier.” Running is just faster in getting you the weight loss results one needs, although increasing your risk of injury if you’re not careful.

Research from REPUTABLE WEBSITES ! Especially when one's health/life are at stake. Not truckers or anyone else talking out their #####. From WEBMD --> Diabetes Diabetes is NOT curable. In fact it is a progressive disease that often gets worse over time. As many have stated already. It's all about controlling one's blood sugar. Many times with diabetes being a progressive disease, oral medications are NOT enough to get your A1C under control and INSULIN must be added to the medication regiment. That is exactly what happened in my case. My Pancreas said ####k you, I'm not producing any more insulin for you. Please EDUCATE yourselves from REPUTABLE websites. Don't listen to crazy QAnon medical advice or anything else ! Q is for Quack !Last edited: Oct 4, 2020
