Really thinking of making the switch sooner. I have two offers right now Bynum being one. Another i'd be still pulling a reefer. Does Bynum micromanage? Like telling you where to fuel and how much to get, giving a route to follow etc.

They do not micro manage. We use pilot flying j. They do not route you either. If your low on fuel and no pilot just call and they’ll open your card where your at.

Hey guys. Was going to start to new thread about Bynum considering theres not much recent info about this company. But I can see it just got a recent post so ill just leave off from here.
I was recently contacted by Bynum for an open tanker position. I live in South TX and the recruiter said there was a southeast division. Does anyone work that? Hos are the loads and miles/timeframe? Whats an average check look like? I was offered .45 and I have 2.5 years experience, 1 of that is fuel hauling local. There website says up to .50 and I dont know if its get lower than .45 but I guess that dont sound to bad if I'm driving.

Another thing I think the recruiter said is you cant idle the trucks in temps inbetween 45-70. Now I'm going to want a fridge, microwave, and im not sweating when im trying to sleep. If its 70 outside, its going to be 80 at least on the inside and I'm not sleeping with my windows down where anyone could reach into my truck.

So does anyone have any experience running the southeast division and can someone clearify how they run things when your in the sleeper..

    Thanks guys.

I wish the recruiter would have explained that a little better. It was a major turn off for me thinking I'd have no AC during those temps. I havnt even considered them except as a last offer after talking to the recruiter.
