Sounds more like Manteo than Coinjock. Actually sounds more like Wanchese.

Manteo wouldn't wouldn't surprise me though. Several places there now fit the description "Dump with charm".

For example...Mrs. Helen's Kitchen. Also famously known as Biscuits and Porn.

Local favorite and tourist favorite. Breakfast is good. Line always wrapped around the inside, whether in season or not. Chicken is good to.

Yes it's a gas station, an yes..the food is good.

Like I said above...the chicken is good and it sells out fast, but most go for breakfast.

    Menu - nothing fancy.

Those are the regular biscuits I think. The cheesy ones are very popular.

Not my pictures so the photos come from here - Biscuits N' Porn - A Must Visit in Outer Banks - The Beard And The Baker

One of those places you think it would suck, but it's good. If your a healthy eater...stay away.

Sirscrapntruckalot - Now I know where I'm going tomorrow for breakfast.

I'm kind of past the vintage muscle car stuff..........kinda. Still love the interiors. But the bottom line is it's 50 year old technology. BRAKES. What an awesome invention. Plus if someone whacks your newer car, much easier to get restored.

That being said they quit making Maro's lol lol.

Mine's the 50th anniversary one too. Several people, including the dealer, have offered me about what I paid for it.

Wouldn't mind a hell kitty, that would please The OM too.

If I was going to do something vintage.............GTX or a Roadrunner.

In the world we live in, where you are an accident or inspection away from being unemployed...............listen to an old man, save up a lot of cash, and put a lot down on big purchases.

There were two, now banned, that insisted he doesn’t actually doesn’t actually do what he does for a living despite numerous pictures posted to prove it. They really rode his ### about it until they were escorted from the building, and I suppose he’s still a little sore.

I'll bet this will run low 11's. He's got bypass to uncork the headers. 440 auto.

I'll second that. Newest thing I own is almost 20 years old... and I curse it once a week because of the 'technology' in it.
