I wish there was a love button! I cringe whenever I see somebody use "safe haven" instead of safe parking. The real irony? Safe haven isn't applicable in these cases because the loads that utilize a safe haven, must be driven team.

Although I agree with you guys on the use of safe "haven", or misuse as is the case, for the op, that seems to be what WExpress calls it on their elogs.

Probably not the only company to do this either. So @farmerjohn64, don't let these semantics confuse you.

Try not to take this the wrong way.

You are going to have lots of bad days. The key to minimizing bad days is to look at what your role was in causing the problem (s). Even when the problem is nothing of your making, ask yourself "can I handle this differently in the future?".

A lot of your posts have a general theme of avoiding responsibility and shifting blame - "my trainer rushed me through load securement, which is why I don't understand it", etc. @Dick Danger called you on YOUR failure, something that is going to happen a lot in the next few months. You can either take issue with the tone, or take to heart the intent of the comment.

Agreed. Since today is a better day...

What's the saying, "Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail"? How does one just get behind the wheel of a truck and start driving with ZERO planning? It's like driving down the road until you run out of fuel and then asking for help. The AVERAGE driver can trip plan. Who gets out of bed with the goal to just be AVERAGE? But if you as a driver cannot trip plan, you are less than average. Now, a lot of the group has gone above and beyond trying to help you out, but it's not anyone else' place to wipe your arse. Handle your responsibility. If you need help, the gang will help you BUT you are going to have to start taking responsibility for your mess. If someone says that you smell like poo after you crap your pants, don't get mad at them. It's your mess.
