How regularly do you guys do a b service and oil change on your trucks? I have been doing every 30, 000 miles, i am wondering if this is overdoing it or not because it turns out my company does their trucks at around 80,000 miles. I am just wondering whats the most optimal mile range to get it done.

Companies do longer intervals because they get rid of the trucks every 5 years for the most part

mine gets filters and oil at 15k and greased once a month, oil and grease is cheap, replacing parts are not as well as cuts Into my beer drinking time

What’s your manual say? I’d start there and test your oil at the recommended interval and adjust from there. No sense in dumping out good oil. I do filters at 20k and oil / filters at 40k. I could probably push mine out a little more but that’s what I’ve settled on.

    GET A BYPASS FILTER

    AND

GET AN OIL ANALYSIS EVERY 15K.

This will tell you when to change oil.

"B" service is a PM . "A" service is at longer intervals, and they can include replacing the engine coolant, differential fluid, trans fluid in addition to a B service. The components on an A service would be covered in the owner's manual/ service manual

Service A & B are probably terms used by the OP’s company. If you want the full-blown maintenance, find the maintenance manuals for your truck make/model and your engine. Get ready because that list is exhaustive at least for the Freightliner Cascadia.

I do oil change and filter change every 12k. As well as grease truck and trailer every couple weeks.

I go by the "heavy duty" interval in the manual. If you look closely at who that includes, it's probably the majority of trucks.
