If you're getting the alarm for low air pressure the air is going somewhere. Your tanks are only able to hold 100psi and don't produce it very quickly, it will take a little while to fill a low tire

You dont release your trailer brakes, they are set because the hose is disconnected. As long as your springs work and you dont pull the kingpin release it doesnt matter what you do with the tractor brakes, the trailer isnt moving, thus neither is the truck.farmerjohn64 Thanks this.
