    That depends on the state... Many states out west it is a misdemeanor reckless driving.

    I got pulled over as a kid doing 123 in a 60... I thought I was screwed. Officer was amazingly nice and let me off after a very stern butt chewing with a verbal warning.

    Depends on the occifer. Was taken out at gun point when I was 18 doing right around 125, maybe 130. Scolded thoroughly, drove home. No citation. ( I-5 north of Scramento CHP )

    Stopped pulled over doing 120 when I was 16, scolded drove away. No citation ( 1-17 half way to Flagstaff DPS )

    Mmmmm... I wont buy his BS. To have average speed 108 mph he should drive between the cities 150 mph.
    20 gal. fuel tank plus one more is 40 gallons for 2796 miles or 69.9 mpg.
