DOT wants more women in trucking

Yes, keep promoting more flooding of the trucking job market.

What a great idea.

I can feel the rates dropping already.

 

The DOT can want all that it wants, but guess what ya can't make them join the job, they have to want to do the job

 

DOT hauls freight now too?

 

LOL Yeah i misread that too!! I was responding to the title and then i read the entire thing.. My mistake!!!

 

It's hard enough on a guy, don't think to many women would last unless they are running team with there husband.

 

Although I don't drive any longer, I used to haul a flat bed, solo.
Being out here with my husband, I see LOTS of women drivers out here, driving solo....and a lot of them are probably BETTER at the job than some of the guy noobs out here.

Well... that statement should bring on some interesting comments. LMAO...

 

All for women joining the dot-wish they would work as trucker for 5 years before being an employee of of dot.They might actually know what they are doing then and have a clue.

 

That is a government positiion, no experience required........
