Forgot to mention, last week in Statesboro GA, I loaded insulation alongside a yellow 579 leased to same company as you. Younger black guy, didn't get his name, nice fellow. Wonder if you knowed him, but probably a longshot..

LoL so ol Buck is a '93, built 09/92. She's older than you, @stwik , & @Brettj3876 . Seriously though, good for y'all. I liked my old job, but sometimes wish I got started in trucking sooner..

 

And there's the rub as they used to say. They also used to say things like no redeeming social value, nonsense, frivolous, wasteful, classless, tasteless....
It was up to the younger one to figure out what exactly was the offending act or word or what have you. Then think about it. And if you could refute or argue it then do so.
Taught patience, thinking skills, debating skills and humility when you were proved wrong.
Also provided opportunity before debating and after to Really think about what Were redeeming social values. What was tasteless or classless. What were good actions or bad actions. I truly believe that not just myself but many people were raised thinking that it was expected to try to encourage Everyone to the best thoughts and actions.
Now it's a race to the bottom....

 

How is the new job treating ya?
Wife and I installed 81 gps units into 81 school buses in 4 days for another school division. I've had my share of dirty buses and half weird bus drivers.
Was hilarious when a older, unkempt large dude asked my wife if she was single. Move along dude...

I didn't know it was that old. 26 but i can still pass as a high school SR when i shave lol. Get some funny looks hoping out of the truck. Prob cuz im wearing work boots and not flip flops.

1st ever run out of school was 8 stop Wendy's NYC peddle. Wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

There used to be a couple of good diners on the 22 and on the 28 near there. It used to be a nice area when I trucked through there, but heck that was well over 30 years ago, probably not anymore though.

Going through the Piney's, one wouldn't even think he was even in Joisey. I read once that some of the purest water comes outta the white sand in the South Jersey pine barrens.
