Best Least Expensive Steer or All Position Tires

    I have a 1969 KW900A that I am restoring for the sole purpose of showing. I am removing the stationary 5th wheel permanently and will be posting it for free. Its old but works and just needs a little cleanup which I will be doing, its free to whoever wants it. Just as a FYI, I am making the bed a flatbed, stake-side for it. The current tires are Michelin X brand tires dated 2008, good retreads on the back. Since I am only restoring it for the show circuit, never intending to haul a load again what would you all suggest for replacement tires? I'd like to get something that is all position, low profile if possible with descent tread patterns (safety is my biggest concern, not hauling any weight) with the lowest possible cost tire. The tractor weighs in at 12,410 lbs.

    What do any of you recommend as replacement tires?

    Thanks in advance for any help y'all may provide.

    I would probably just run the Michelin’s out if your not going far with them, other then that about the cheapest I would go is Goodyear marathons, I wouldn’t put anything Chinese on the steer

    We always had good luck with Kelly Tires , way cheaper than Michelin or Bridgestone.

    I buy BFG only steer/drives for years, reasonable price and i'm happy with quality, lasts as long or longer than more expensive top brands.
