    Gary was the first place that I saw the Bullett Proof Glass, that was in the 70 s before it got bad. I heard some steel haulers that hauled steel out of U S Steel during a Strike and stopped west of Gary for a bite. came out to find their trucks had severe hail damage. Must have been one of those lake efect storms.

    Gary, as a whole, is a really messed up ghetto. That said, I've stayed at the Petro a few times and it was really nice....definitely above average.
    Which goes to show.....it's not the town, it's the place. I'd rather spend the night in Gary than I would in Memphis
