is there a specific tool to use on them air switches.?
I used a small pliers or channel lock last time I think. Very gently too try not to break the new one..

So this is how far out of adjustment we were. Exhaust seems pretty close but intake valves .002 or less.! Said he couldn't get the feeler under a few. Injectors heights were all high 1/4--1/2. 1, 2, & 6 jakes were off as well..
I love paying a 2nd time to fix another's mistakes..
Spec I believe is
Intake .008
Exhaust .026
Injector height 78.2
This is the drawing I was given for each cylinder
40 mile bobtail home from Tampa she sounded much better..

Yes drop the colum, or struggle. Both are a pain.
I used a combination of socket, extension, and channel locks to turn the extention. And didnt drop the steering column. Getting my fricking hands in there are a issue.Last edited: Jul 7, 2020
