I wear one when requested by the receiver. I do food service so some restaurants have requested it. I also wear one when delivering to nursing homes or assisted living facilities. So many of those places you deliver right though the front door. Some won’t let us inside And have staff meet you at the door. Some aren’t doing much as others. I wear it because they are a vulnerable population. Will wear one today when I’m in Worthington mn at the Walmart.

Just to clear things up, a mask does NOT prevent you from getting the virus, but it contains anything that comes out of your mouth or nose so you don't give it to someone else. A N95 is for airborne particles, but you can still contract the virus from touching droplets on the surface of something, depending on several factors including texture and temperature to name a few. Under optimum conditions, it can live up to 72 hours.

If a mask can't keep you from breathing it in, how does it keep you from blowing it out when you sneeze?

Read it again. I plainly said a N95 is for airborne particles.

All your arguments about wearing a mask have me finally seeing the light. If N95 is good, then my new N95000 mask is going to make me invincible. Go ahead, cough and sneeze on me.

N95 is good his argument about the virus living on surfaces has nothing to do with wearing a mask at all. Has to do with not washing his hands then touching his face like mouth or eyes, or better yet eating without taking the proper precautions or eating in the open of a sit down restaurant.

Im not a germaphobe, but I believe in exercising good hygiene.

Yesterday, I actually saw'r the Walmart person that counts the people going in, turn away a customer with no mask. I looked at the guy, a younger man, and thought, with all the hype, how could you be so stupid as to not think of wearing one in a store? Englewood, a suburb of Denver, has adopted a fine for no masks in a public setting. $15 bucks for 1st offense, all the way to couple grand and jail time for repeat offenders. I never thought I'd see the day,,,but here we are.

Yep, a travesty to personal liberty.

I have no issue respecting a private company’s rule to wear a mask. But when the government mandates it, they have gone too far. In a public setting or in the absence of a private company rule, people should be free to decide. We all have plenty of information to make our own informed decisions.

I agree, but it IS Colorado. I grew up and lived in Wisconsin all my life, and while plenty of jokes can be made about the people who live there, it pales in comparison to the fruitcakes that live here. I want to get back to the upper midwest and some sort of normalcy.
