    the pavement ended well before 100 Mile House until sometime in the mid 70's. that's a long slug on two wheels, what were you riding?

    I was sent there for a year or so to "stay out of trouble". Worked civilian
    (prisoner LOL) at PT Barrow, stuck there over the winter. Only way in/out was a plane then, weather permitting.
    Had to "sneak" into Yukon and then into Washington, too young.
    Honda 100 (motor scooter license at 14) Had someone 16 buy the 130 kit and carb.
    Stayed around 100 mile house at Horse Lake for the summer.
