Notice in this example, the side wall states Max load single 6175 lbs at 110 psi cold.
So the 110 psi is the Minimum pressure required to support 6175 lbs, or 12350 lbs for two of them on the same steer axle.
So if you only had 100 psi in this tire you would be under inflated for 12,000 lbs on a standard steer axle. -
I'll be shot for this. You really need to look manufacturers info per tire brand.
With that, anyone can see what I do on here with my equipment. I run 95 in steers and 90 on trailers. On premium tires.
