What does a water truck driver do during the day? I've seen sterling water trucks on drop decks b4 but I've also seen them get driven from job site to job site. What class of license do you need? any help will be appreciated...

The ones Ive seen on the job pour water to keep dust down, round and round they go.
Another is a Tractor Trailer tanker in season filling at the water tower downtown for pools. Not too... intense as regular trucking would be.
Once in a while in a good fire, they will be rounded up to run water to feed the pumpers. -
Yeah they straight up drive around doing laps all day to keep the dust level down and range in size from medium duty to off road quarry trucks to fit every application. Jobsites, auctions, etc. You'll also see them keeping it sloppy on hot summer days at off road events, mud parks, etc.

RockinChair Thanks this. -
Not only for keeping the dust down but water is also needed for compaction of materials in construction.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
