We had this exact discussion tonight
Didn't know they got raided... -
What are you talking about or am I missing posts???
-
Post 134006. I quoted @Tug Toy's photo he posted of what looks like a burnt 773 CAT.

Sorry..... You lost me..
But I figured it out.
If ya QUOTE it helps us old folks.... -
I did quote it lol.

It happened Friday. The county prosecutor, Kim Gardner, has a history of using her office for political activism. The MO AG, Eric Schmitt, has said he doesn't see where the McCloskeys broke any laws. They were on private property, and Missouri's Castle Doctrine gives a lot of latitude to property owners when it comes to defending their homes.

Yeah, it's fishy.
1. No one else in the neighborhood made a stand? If you and I are neighbors, it is obviously in my best interest to watch your back. After all, whatever goes down at your house is gonna go down at my house.
2. The gun confiscation. Not without warrants. Not without charges filed. This strikes me as some more of that sensationalized fake news. There would be public record. -
Welp I used the word raid maybe incorrectly.
But in exact turn a phrase is says "search warrant was executed & the long gun seized". The wife was apparently bluffing, as her pistol was inoperable. But she will be turning it over to authorities..
Either way, I believe these folk, after seeing st. Lou businesses burn down, & the retired police captain killed, had reasonable fear for their safety. If brandishing is all it takes to save life & property......
I've already said too much. Sorry to ruin the thread again folks..
Need to find me a load, get some seat time, & just keep cool..
