Me and the man upstairs made peace a long time ago..... But ya gotta understand... I married a Catholic girl and not counting funerals I've been to church seven times.....three baptism and holidays....

Explaining what that means to you would help me......

I have trouble understanding verses because interpretations are different

There is a podcast called sermonaudio. Its a great way to learn the bible and listen to a sermon while driving. I have found the bible is about reading between the lines and interpretting the word in a way that applies to your life. The book starts to make more sense when you can relate it to ur life....

If u are a duck dynasty fan. Jase and phil have a podcast where they talk about bible verses and apply them to current events. Its real good and funny ... its called "unashamed , with phil robertson".. Lots of good teaching videos on youtube you could learn from ....

Father Grub was who I always listened to at church....drove a blue camaro with skyboy on the plates.....liked his wine.
Always talked about the oak tree.....don't remember the branches but the trunk was to build the house and the stump was to sit and rest....all he had left....

Always told the same story..... My father-in-law didn't like me very much but we went to church cause my wife loved her daddy....and I loved his little girl.
