Ah... ok... so now we know how to extend its run time... run it for an hour or so when you start your ten... then right before bedtime, turn it off and back on... ;-)

Unlike most companies we don’t have tons of empty trucks sitting around. The seats are usually pretty close to being filled. This a very desirable place to work, so the availability of trucks stays tight.

Hoping for a Pete soon... Or a KW, either one is better than this FL. It's driving me insane.

Setting at TA in Wheat Ridge Colorado
It looks my truck blew a Wheel seal again
Limped it into the truck stop and waiting my turn to be called to have shop look at it . I should’ve stayed on vacation ‍♂️

I was going to top off the tanks and test out that vacuum at the pumps to sweep it out for you... but just as soon as I moved my stuff out one of the shop guys grabbed it... and then I found out my fuel card was switched back to my KW anyway.

so there might be some dust on the floor but it should be pretty clean for you.

and if you do hop in it, please tell me what you think of that seat. I think it slopes to the right. Like there is more support on the left side due to the seat controls... or something... Strange for a brand new truck... I always felt as if my right cheek was an inch lower than my left cheek... fine for a week but I’d be yanking that thing out if I was in it 24/7.

I'm surprised nobody told you when you got hired. When I got hired and Shane was showing me around the truck he said to do exactly that. Turn it off right before you go to bed and it'll run for another 10. I guess nobody really showed you around your truck because of corona?

So, I'm thinking that the one they gave me isn't the one you had. It's an older one; 1255. Which isn't an issue, except it's a smoker's truck. Soon as I stepped in it it reeked like an ashtray. I don't smoke so that was an immediate hard pass for me. This is after 5 pm, which ensued in numerous calls being made to find a solution. My Chino load delivers Monday, am.

I'd have gone straight to the hotel otherwise, and I think they'd have reimbursed me being that I was ready to switch.

That might be the first one they gave me... is it a manual? Ya, technically I took my CDL Tests in a manual... and technically I did passed... but ya, South Florida, no hills... I had to pass... guess I’m not to “True Trucker”... and I’m ok with that... lol

Well, whoever ends up in that FL, it’s fairly clean... but still a FL... lol
