Another name for truck driver?

    What's another name for truckers that sounds more professional? For example, I have a friend who is a salesman, but instead of telling people he's just a salesperson, he uses the word sales "consultant", which sounds more professional. I've been telling people I'm in Logistics, eventhough I'm just a company driver, but that still doesnt sound right. So, I was wondering if there's another word we can use? Thank you.

    In another career many years ago I worked with guy that was on of the founders of the company. He didn't want any part of management ... He was the company's first salesman and that's what he kept doing.

    Whenever anybody asked him what he did he always said I'm just a peddler.

    The company later sold for over a billion dollars ... The man could call himself anything he wanted ... But he was just a peddler and very good one.

    Call yourself whatever you want. Just be good at it.
