1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Yes it dose go on your DAC. And I'm going to say that it will be at least five years before any company that uses DAC will hire you now unless you get that cleared off.

For the guy who asked if there are any companies that will hire you with a positive test. Well simply put none that are worth working for or that I would work for.

When I was in my mid 20's I worked for a company that didn't drug test at all when I started. There started to be a big drug problem on the yard you could actually find stashes. So they started doing pre employment tests sadly if a person failed it simply meant that they wouldn't reimburse that person for their test but would still hire them. Btw this company made concrete pipe the main one we made was 20 foot long 6 foot internal diameter and 1 foot thick walls and I forget how many tons that they weighed. Well about month after I quit the crane operator pulled the cable tight while a guy was still unhooking it from a pipe. It cut three of his fingers off pinched them right off. The crane operator then tested positive for heroin. The forklift operator was also a known meth addict keep in mind that his forklift was capable of lifting these pipe. I personally saw him come back from lunch stoned off his.... and then go out and drive that thing around bumping into things. And management would do nothing about it that was actually when I decided to quit.

if you're serious about your life you wouldn't use drugs especially when trying to be a driver. smarten up. or go work in a medical pot shop in CA sitting in the store all day
