Radio shops

To be honest I don't know anything about the guy. In my experience there's nothing special about a text book service manual tune. That's about the best most people could ever hope for.

 

There used to be a cb repair guy at exit 77 at the old Wilcox Hess, now Pilot. He had a mobile truck parked out front that he left there.

 

Charles Roy works for the Pennsylvania emergency management agency working on Government radio equipment and no longer works on CB radios. He was very good at what he did.

 

Thanks for the information! I used him before and he was good. R&R communications in Delaware was excellent! I hope you don't tell me that they are gone too

 

In my experience there was no comparison between those 2 technicians. Charlie at exit 77 was much better. The other guys are still in business to the best of my knowledge

None in SLC that you'd want to go to.
There were two that would charge you for a hack job and two that would do you right. Only one hack job is left around sapp brothers from time to time...

Ive never been here yet, it seems they do more than CB so that seems positive to me as someone that isnt as likely to mess up your radio to make it "look good" but they are in southern Utah.

Sometimes you just gotta pack it up and shp to a good tech...
Rather than puttin it in a box..Look for one of these..
