Oh that's brilliant logic there. Really brilliant. Sheesh.

 

Barr-Nunn is a good company,they just gave all northeast drivers a 1cent raise due to so much freight in the area! They do whats best for the company and its drivers,so they will not go under.That is the reason for them to change to bonus from 60,000 miles to 120,000 miles to get the $625.00 ,and changing lay over to $50.00 ..They still give out sign - on bonuses on the first week check.And 401k starts on day1.THERE ARE NOT MANY COMPANIES DOING THAT NOW!!

 

No it's not hard to see. The point is it shouldn't be happening... or they should be eliminating waste company wide... instead most trucking companies go after the drivers first. They shouldn't have the gall to act surprised at why and how high the turnover rate in this industry is. You keep taking from the drivers and keep taking and eventually they walk.

 

Ah turnover. It doesn't take a lot to see why the rate is so high.

 

Its sad that most people cannot afford to quit as they are stuck working for the man no matter what.. Learn to live within your means and most people wouldn't have any problems.

 

I work for barr-zero(nunn) for 6 months in 2008. I was out of charlotte dc! I was getting anywhere 1000-1400 miles a week when they told me i would get 2000-2200 a week. I park the truck at charlotte and drove my car home. Last time i did that one of guys in shop stoled about $400 worth of stuff!Yes I was home every weekend but paid was not there! I told them to get lost and went to a better company! Good luck to whoever work for them!
