Recruiter flat out lied. Told me .40 a mile. When I get to orientation they told me sliding scale yo get between .30-.35 a mile. I'm super pissed. I guess I'm stuck for awhile. I'm having a hard time finding work because may trucking said I hit a pillar at shipper now it's on my record. I told want to work for peanuts. Can anybody help me. Where can I get a job

Apply to NON dac companies.
They far outnumber dac companies.foggy, BigHossVolvo and truckdriver31 Thank this. -

You're in a bad spot. May and Western are both 2nd chance companies.
Only solutions I can find were posted on your other thread and they're local/home daily jobs.

Man, you gotta change the attitude. It's nothing wrong with working at Western Express. You can do fine once you change your attitude. They can give you lots of miles if you get out there and prove yourself. I've said it a dozen times, cpm is low, but they make up for it with the miles. All you gotta do is run, take every load they give you, and don't hit anything else. Over time it gets better. At least you have somewhere to work....itll be fine.
dunchues, nredfor88, Omegaangelz and 10 others Thank this. -
Every local company I've worked for. Has never heard of dac or hireright. I've also worked for 3 otr companies. They were local based. And small. They don't use dac either. -
No clue.
Around here. We have the state unemployment board and the local news channel website. Then there's indeed and whatever else. -
