OK, for the 4th time this year, we have been shortpaid by $25 on a load. I call the broker and ask why. "We use truckstop * com and if they have to send a paper check, they deduct $25."
My response was that "I did not make any agreement with TS*com. My deal was with you. You need to pay ME. If you paid them the full amount to pay me, then YOU need to make sure that we get our money".
Is anyone else experiencing a rash of this continued bilking?????
Sick of this

Is the broker using the Truckstop Pay system?
I don't like it. My experience That service adds 7-10 days to the pay date.
I used a broker frequently before they adopted this pay system. They were at 30 days to pay before truckstop, After 2 loads with the delay, I don't call about their loads anymore. -
Yeah, can't speak to this. We don't use their pay service.

I've never heard of this and I am signed up with a million brokers.
Dave_in_AZ, D.Tibbitt and Lite bug Thank this. -
The broker has agreed to pay the carrier. It was never agreed that the broker would give their money to truckstop-com who then placed stipulations on what the carrier has to do to get the money. Now, imagine that truckstop handles 100,000 payments a week and 10,000 of those are paper checks for which they charge $25,000 to the carrier. There is no scenario where it should cost the carrier to get their payment, except in a quick-pay or factoring situation. -
