There is another test in that one merely soaks a swab (in a test kit) with saliva and within a few minutes the results are very definite.
This test is checking for Heroin, Coke, Meth and maybe some other drugs.
Alcohol appearing is another failure.

The Folicle test is very definitive as well and can't be cheated on either as one can merely remove a Folicle from ANYWHERE on ones body thereby negating the cheats.
The Folicle test is rather like a DNA test or determination.
"Let's fondle your Folicles!!"

The other ways to determine identification (and have been overtly over-ridden in movies) is the Retina scan and the Finger print scan.
--Disney World uses the Fingerprint scan for entrance into their park yet claims this is not an invasion of privacy. They say they'll accept the old version of photo I. D. yet prefer the "new" way of doing things.

Unless they have changed the law, if the local boys aren't Federal DOT certified you only have to show them that you have it. As long as you don't have it to them there is nothing they can do. Now they are allowed to detain you for 1 hr waiting for someone that is DOT certified.

 

Beer is better than what??? I have never heard of anybody smoking 6 joints and then getting in their car and hurting, killing or even causing an accident. But there are a lot of drunks that do!!! Florida has had what we call the piss wagon for about 10 years now. A big motorhome with a lab where you piss and they test it right then and there. Usually set up at the wildwood scales. I guess it was a failure because i havent seen it in a long time.

I know that the County Mounties in Riverside County California have some commercial enforcement officers. These guys are trained for everything at the DOT school and they have Drug Recognition Expert training. They work the back roads because of all the smuggling in Southern California and they are so busy they don't have time to pee. They also hang out at the scales on occasion. They are good guys but if you are tweaking they can spot you a mile away and you are toast on the spot.

Less then 10%.. Well I don’t condone this but I think there’s bigger fish to fry out there and bigger things to concentrate on. If a driver does get caught at a scale house or god for bid a accident he should be jailed. Giving diesel cops more power…. Yea, Give it to them, guidelines will help from some step over the line, but if they can control more then the dopey infractions will get looked over a lot faster. For the most part ( unless a cop has something to prove) they don’t mess with trucks unless you do something real dumb or are way out side the law. But in saying that, in Tenn I had Clitis chase me out of town, ( he was still fighting the civil war), He was a nice guy till I spoke and he realized I was from NY and he just flipped his lid, got scared I think. He said “ Junior! you best turn this here truck round, and gets back on that highway before we haves ourselfs a problem”. That was funny.. all I had, to keep from laughing in his face.

 

I was referring to the fact I think beer is better the weed. And of course you never heard of anyone smoking 6 joints then getting in a wreak. I don’t know what they smoke there but if you smoke 6 joint’s here, you would be on your way to the hospitable. Let alone alcohol is more detectable then weed, if your high, it tends to be coughed up to just stupidity, but if beer is detected then “ he was drunk…” besides the side affects are so different, per capita( I think ), alcohol brings confidence and arrogants, weed, people get burnt out, stay put. I think if you test the reaction time and the rationality aspect, beer may overrule. Neither will be good but, one must be more defiant. We don’t have motor homes, just road blocks, for the 4 wheelers, trucks float on by.
