Take the excess of your ratchet strap and fold it up in about 10" length. All the way back to your ratchet. Before you tighten the ratchet down alot slide the folded excess under the ratchet handle where it contacts the trailer then tighten down. It'll hold there until you release the ratchet.

I'll take a pic if these mf'ers ever finish unloading me.

If you are referring to me, i was trying to send 'poetic justice.' I drive those roads almost daily, and I sure didn't endorse her choices.

Ya know i respect you maximum, man.. I just can't 'wax poetic' like you do.. you have a God given talent. I just know big words from the wife being a teacher for many years.

*sigh* I busted the brand new air line I just replaced making a tight turn into my 1st drop off earlier. Just ruined my whole day of dropping off in Amarillo and getting reloaded later on.

Im so friggin mad at myself right now.

Wasn't referring to anyone personally, friend. I scanned though the earlier responses at the request of JPM. Discussions of stuffed toy goats isn't my thing and so I actually try to IGNORE those discussion and people who start them.

I noticed mainly that Chinatown was doing his thing. As usual. That says volumes to me. Whether I agree with him or disagree with him is irrelevant...I have to respect him because he's always the same with everyone.

There are two things that I noticed that happens consistently and without fail.

    1. Tammy Wynette Syndrome. Whenever some woman makes a post complaining about her husband on TTR, "he got fired for speeding, too many accidents, rolling a truck, tickets whatever...if you point out to her that her old man is a screwup, she will instantly backpedal and 'Stand by her man.' "Oh no, he's a good driver!" If he's a good driver, why cant he keep his job? Good drivers don't have problems keeping employment. Waste of time to even respond.

    2. Bootysniffers. No matter how bad a woman drives or screws up, bootysniffers will come out of the woods to play Mr Nice Guy. If it were a guy, the nicest response would be, "Perhaps you should find a different career." There was a woman on TTR years ago that got pulled for running through a construction zone at 15 mph. 15MPH! She shouldn't be driving. "At least I was being safe!" was her response. How about this one, "I was told that I drive better than most men." A common bootysniffer tale. And when you don't bootysniff, the bootysniffers get angry. A strange world we live in.

Thanks, Six. Just ONE day with you, and I'd be a more educated man, driver, and human. I respect China for what HE does, as I respect YOU for what YOU DO, good sir; friend.

ps: All the more reason; wife has 'her forums' .. i've got mine.

I usually start with bungee over top of excess then bring both ends and cross underneath like ur tying shoe laces , and hook each s hook to stake pockets. So its pulling both directions

Waco, TX to Stockton, CA/San Leandro, CA. Sliding through West Texas at the moment with these Cat 415F loaders. Some beautiful West Texas scenery... IMG_20200729_111739.jpg IMG_20200729_111802.jpg
