I gotta give props to anyone that can run teams... There is only one person on this planet I would trust enough to drive a truck while I was asleep in the sleeper, and thats my dad.

Flatbed freight is mostly banker’s hours when it comes to pick up and delivery. I wouldn’t think there’d be much in the way of team freight with a flag unless you got into some time sensitive type stuff. But I could be wrong. Teaming is worth a shot if it’s something you want to try, but I think you’d have better luck staying moving with a box. And if it works out you could look in to Old Dominion or similar LTL company and pull in some decent money as a team.

I think it would be very difficult to get along with someone 24 hours per day. Heck, I can not go 4 hours without getting into some kind of argument with myself.

Most F/B loads load and unload during daylight hours, so teaming means waiting to do so.

Farmer John, If you work on your time management and trip planning skills, (they both take time and effort) you can make 60-70 grand a year solo. Don't necessarily buy into the " Team Drivers make big bucks" trap. Yes, some do, many don't. I would not sacrifice my privacy and freedom as a solo driver for and extra 8-10 K annually. (Potentially!). Good luck on whichever path you choose
