Wonderful!! How did you find it perform compared to single turbo CATS?
I've personally pulled 110k gross with a DDEC V 14L and it did very well stock. Just heard that 160 might be a bit too much for it.
Borg Warner 171702 or 177287 on a 14L Detroit???

What tire size do you run? I was 4:56 on 11r24.5
I pulled 140-150k like a breeze with mine, my legal weight when I was on the highway was 120k and I rarely saw a guy catching me on the hills. It was very good on fuel too. -
Good thing about the Detroit is rebuilds are very cheap and that's what keeps me thinking about them -
Just get leon to tune your ddec5 and hang turbo to match tune. If your pulling that kind of weight I'd run a 80mm turbo with at least a 1.45 housing. Let it breath. Those engines have very strong bottom ends and can produce lots power when tuned correctly.steve092 Thanks this. -

I wouldn't be overly worried about wasting money changing the gear ratio, heck I'm in this truck right now hauling 140,000 with 3:36 on 11r24.5 and have no issues, not ideal but it works.
I know on one of my other trucks, 4:11 on 11r22.5 had me turning 1600 at 65mph I believe. So for you, if anything I'd lower the tire size to a lo pro 24.5 or if you've got cash to burn, swap to a 22.5 and go lo pro will bring you to 1600rpm at 62mpg. Roughlysteve092 Thanks this. -
Right now I'm driving a 14 Cat CT660 with a "FAKE" C15 made by Navistar. 18 SPD and have no idea what the gearing is. -
can you pm his info please -
42# of boost at 1400, 38# at 2400.
