I note she is nearly 70. Fervently pray the righteous posters are close to that age; for if not, they too may
have two occurrences in there life time. So wonderful to be exact in ones performances.

Several months ago I got a ticket for speeding in a construction zone. 55 in a 45. In a hazmat tanker. I kept asking the cop where the 45 MPH zone started, I never got a clear, concise answer.
I asked the company I was driving for to give me the dash cam video and they refused.
Do, I drove over 3 hours in my personal vehicle to video that stretch of road myself.
What I found out was that, despite a bunch of really confusing signage, the 45 MPH zone actually started at the exact spot where I pulled over. I did miss that sign because Mr. CHP had the party lights on well before then and my focus was not on traffic control signs right then.
So I sent the video to my favorite lawyer, who forwarded it to the DA's office. It was dismissed with the officers acquiesce. Apparently he was a little confused by the signage too, and others he cited contested their tickets too.
If I was asked for a moral to this story, I would say it's;
Things are not always as clear cut as Mr. Mack and some others here would like to believe.
As a professional driver you are almost forced to contest every citation or inspection violation that you receive. When I had my own truck I had an account to DataQ inspections and I have gone to court on every citation for decades now. If they're going to make me play the game, I'm going to play to winGearjammin' Penguin, wore out, Dale thompson and 14 others Thank this. -
The problem is that it’s now on your PSP record. Your going to have to find somebody that is a one or two truck owner needing a driver. They usually don’t look at the psp. They just need to to qualify with their insurance company. Get on Craigslist

DOT tape on mud flap brackets falls under DOT Conspicuity laws-which given that it’s Michigan DOT it wouldn’t surprise me that they would nail someone for it. -
