I swear if this rain doesn't stop GA is just gonna float into the middle of the atlantic ocean. I know we were in a drought for 3 years but come on we didn't ask to go from one extreme to another. Parts of town looks like the gulf coast after Katrina!!!!!! Send john boats to the south everyone is gonna be needing one sooner or later at this rate. Off to get groceries hopefully this trip won't end up in the er again. Gotta drive the long way around since part of the road is missing from last weeks rain! Ya'll be safe if your coming this way!

What are these "applicable fees" you speak of other than the 25 dollars for paying back tuition?

Really, my International has been great. When the ECM died, it was totally out of the blue, and confused everyone at Central. At 3500 miles no truck anywhere should do that.

the ICON is another weird hiccup. I've not heard of an International with this problem before. I've heard of one that won't shut off, but not this "go into wait mode and shut down." So I think our truck is an anomaly. I'm also kryptonite for trucks.

Volvos have problems based on a bunch of things, but primarily because they're turned down. It has something to do with the way Central turns the trucks down, since it's based off a governor and not the settings within the truck, the truck still acts like it wants to go to a higher speed (I believe it's 73). So, it dumps fuel and runs like it's going to hit 73 or so, and then gets pulled up short at 62, and that causes wear and tear on specific parts. Water pumps, oil leaks, power steering pumps, coolan leaks are all common Volvo problems, as are electrical. Volvos have huge electrical problems, and Central never takes the time (and money) to fix them right.

I don't know what fees Magjesty is talking about, but when I was a student, I had no applicable fees taken out of my training pay. For me, it was taxes and that was it (I didn't have tuition to pay). Once you're upgraded, you're going to have to have money taken out for the lock kit, and if they still have it, there's a fee they pull out for the first 7-10 weeks as "insurance" money. Basically, you pay into this account, and if you trash the truck and quit, they can use that money to pay for any damages. I'm assuming they still have it, but no one's said a thing about it for a long time. I paid $40 a week for it, and $10 for the lock kit.

Only other fees I can think of would be the cost for the physical, they might be pulling it out at $10 a week if that's not already included in the cost of schooling.

the lock kit is $10 a week for ten weeks. the $40 is random untill you get $280 stored up. tuition is $57 a week but they reberse $34 so you olny pay $23 a week for that. they dont take any of these things untill you upgrade though
