They may not know anything about driving, but theyre not dumb lol just like with automatic braking, collision systems, etc they will make sure we can't access anything to disable these systems and if we do they will know

Those cameras are in testing called mirror eye. Eventually those screens on the a-pillars is what youll use for cameras cause there wont be mirrors on the hood or doors

FxF has a camera on the passenger side hood mirror in the new tractors. When you put on your 4-ways or right turn signal, the ELD tablet turns into the screen for the camera. I guess the theory is that it will help with backing up and watching your trailer axles on right turns. But there’s two main problems...1st, we are required to have our 4-ways on at all times in the yard, which means we can’t access the ELD because it just shows the camera. 2nd, the camera is absolutely useless at night because when you put your turn signal on, what happens is you’re blinded by a bright screen with a flashing turn signal in your face. It’s completely worthless in linehaul tractors.
