Obviously the robber new. So how did he know is the question.

I think if I'm going to get 200 large, Alice is going along.

Ya definitely agree on him knowing. I just cannot understand how you withdraw $200k and have no security/protection with you? Wow.

    Seems... fishy.

    Inside job?

I wouldn't think a strip-mall branch would normally have that kind of cash on-hand. So, I'm guessing it was pre-arranged. It wouldn't be the first time a teller ripped off a customer.

Or, a very outside chance the guy arranged it himself, but for what reason?

Anyhow, what kind of dummy withdraws $200k in cash like that? Perhaps he was planning an epic hookers 'n blow weekend?

Similar situation in NYC few months ago. Some guy from Africa had backpack full of money, around $150K that he was taking to his son that's in college. He brought the money from Africa on his flight to New York.
Lost it all. Said he doesn't trust banks.

The time it took for the bank to get that much money ready, even, and especially, if it was arranged beforehand, was plenty of time for one of the people in the know, to tell others. Could have been bank employees or even a family member with little sense and a wagging tongue. But I bet the robber knew who to look for and what he was getting.
