Yep very common out west... I hauled a lot of hay on a flatbed A-Train.... 42' lead and a 36' pup. If I remember correctly I think I could get 40 or 42 of the big 4' × 4' × 8' bales per load... Strapping that many bales multiple times a day REALLY sucked... Made for sore shoulder muscles.

Gotcha, I was with CFCC when they moved out on Angola. That barn on Hagmam was originally built as Roadway, didn't even have doors when they built it, figured they were always going to have trailers at doors so no need for actual pull down door. It's an LKQ truck parts place now. You can still see remanants of the old drag line system in there.

    D.Tibbitt and jamespmack Thank this.

Yes your correct, I stated yellow and meant roadway.

I get alot of stuff from LKQ. But your right about the doors.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

See a few out west in UT. Mostly Btrain running I-15 and Atrain hay haulers running into CA.

Nothing rides better than a set of Canadian rtac btrains. 32 lead. 28 pup. Or vice versa. But I prefer the first being longer. As for backing up, I still to this day have a hard time backing up a straight trailer.

Use to load grader blades out of steinbach, mb into bucyrus, oh on Michigan btrains. Would permit the load into Ohio. Would wake up in the morning surrounded by guys with tandem decks looking at my setup like I was on crack. Lol
