If you need other people to convince you, you already have your answer.

From 10k to 45k eastern 37 today ran from someset NJ to Rochester ny 287,80,81,90 with 13k in the box 5.9mpg @ 65-70 mph ave ive tried going slower but its never helped i have got 7.2. Empty midqest deadhead and trying to get good mpg. This thing is sacless bit ive seen it out pull new trucks sometimes.. The 84n from pa to ny gone up it doing 25 foot in it and i laugh at 1.2 mpg as it takes the next 10 minutes to climb that hill to be fare it was at 78k

Normally I would say Go For it.

It’s just this political situation and Covid Krap is a krapshow.

So little to gain and soo much to lose right now.

    Just give it sometime.

A lot of success is Timing.

I'm in the process of getting my own authority now and it is quite expensive. I'm starting with more than twice what you are and still wishing I had another 20k to be comfortable.

D.Tibbitt, tommymonza and Code-Head Thank this.

Company leases aren't bad if they're walk-away leases.

If you know how to be a functioning adult and not spend every penny you earn, it's not difficult at all to make the same you made as a company driver. Don't expect much more.

What you gain is business experience, tax returns as a business, and the future ability to qualify for business loans so the truck you do decide to finance is done at 8% instead of 18%.

    D.Tibbitt and tommymonza Thank this.
