I just came back from the DL office and got an official list of my infractions. Nothing since 2018 (faulty theft alarm/horn). No idea what the 2019 1-5 mph violation is about.

    Lonesome and stillwurkin Thank this.

I mean you got like what 1 year OTR. You can do O/O and be successful but, is it the right option to do? Have you ever owned a business or did business taxes? It's all fun and roses until you get the tax bill. Doubtful Landstar would even look at you with just 1 year, they might not 100% sure. If your wanting to be an O/O just to get out of your situation then you will go into it with a rush frame of mind but, if you go into it with a business frame of mind and think of it as a business then you will be successful.
I mean what are we in right now, were in the worse pandemic in history with Top Name trucking companies going bankrupt. Have you thought about that at all?

Yeah, I'm a criminal. I admit, I messed up and earned the DOT infractions. It's on me. Just wish I had known I was (apparently) on double secret probation. That said, the CR England yard is crowded with trucks. When I came off my last home time last time around I sat in the SLC dorm for and half weeks waiting for a load assignment. They may have too many drivers so it's that much easier to cut the cord when someone messes up.

Please take Moose's advice. We all have to drive together, our families are out there driving along side of us. It's unfortunate but I have to admit there are some company trucks out there that I will get away from as quickly as possible, England is one of them. Just curious but how much experience did your trainer have?

    lutzman Thanks this.

I was just kidding about the criminal thing. You can find another trucking job. They may have actually have done you a favor. Did you happen to be up for a increase in pay soon? They may just want to replace you with a newby for less $$.

    TokyoJoe and austinmike Thank this.

On the other thread he has almost 2 years, he might not pass your veracity test.
