Hello Everyone
Recently I bought my dream truck it’s a kenworth w900, I don’t like the tires because it has low tread, tire size are 11R22.5. Now my older truck which is a Volvo vnl780 has 24.5 tire size and they are still almost brand new. Could I be able to swap rims and tires. Will it effect anything since the W900 is rated tire is are 22.5

Are the tires on your Volvo tall or low pro 24.5’s? Tall 22.5’s are about the same diameter as low 24.5’s. Should be an easy swap and you shouldn’t have to do anything with your speedo. But if they’re tall 24.5’s your speedo will be off and you’ll be running a slightly lower rpm at cruising speed.

24.5 are a pretty common tire on a lot of W900s. As long as the steer tires don't hit anything at full left/right turn. Probably just need the speedometer recalibrated.

Volvo has 295/75R24.5

Sorry Volvo has 285/75R24.5

Well thank you guys, the W900 has tandem fenders hopefully putting 24.5 won’t rub on the fenders.

Those are the same height as 1122.5s, as long as the are both hub pilot/ball and socket on either truck they should go right over as long as steel/aluminum is the same spot as well
Adamali21 Thanks this.
