    what's the whining noise after i turn off the truck. It last for up to 45 seconds then turns off

    Its the dpf def emissions filter thingy. When I got a battery disconnect installed they told me to wait a few minutes after I truck off the truck as it could damage the emissions system

    Probably just the DEF pump purging the DEF lines.
