I recently replaced my air lines/light cord but I don’t like the way they rub on the headache rack. A longer spring would probably solve that but then they would rub on the catwalk... so I’m thinking there’s gotta be a better setup than what I have here. The only other option I know of is one of those spring posts that attach to the catwalk, but I’ve only seen those on longer wheelbase trucks so not sure if that would work for me.

Any suggestions? Pictures of your setup? This is a company truck so I can’t go too crazy with mods.

It's called a pogostick. You can find them at any parts store for trucks. That would be the best option.

I had this on an old tractor that I owned years ago. I made it, I tried to zoom in on it the best I could View attachment 341385 View attachment 341385

Just loosen where the spring clamps to the lines to draw them tighter to truck and get them up off the catwalk and tighten the clamp back up.

weld a little piece of flat stock onto the headache rack (where the spring clamp is) so it sticks out towards the rear about 6 inches or so drill a new whole and clip it there that way the lines wont hang down at that angel and rub.

Put more wire wrap on the air hoses. To protect them if they run.

I appreciate the responses. I think I will pick up one of those pogo sticks and see how that works. How do they mount?
