I put a dab of loctite on it, and used a torque wrench on the 1-7/16 nut. Just to put myself at ease, I made sure to put tamper guard paint lines on everything I touched.
Put new hood springs on and was looking over the engine when my wife asks "did you find something else?!?!" I'm like, "nope, but I'll keep looking until I do". Sometimes I wonder why I have such bad luck, but then I realize that usually it's because I just spent a week looking for it lol.Flint1, cke, singlescrewshaker and 5 others Thank this. -

Growing up in Ely, NV, we would skate the ice ponds with all the wind rough ice, thought I was a fair ice skater. Family moved to Reno and they had a semi pro team and open skating at the rink. I asked a girl out on a skating date, well, (setting the course for my future), got my skates on, stepped onto the ice....went flat on my arse! Learned right there, how easy it is to make a date laugh!
That ice is slick!
