That is a big circular tank before onsite assembly... The 2 top most pieces have the inlet and/or outlet pipes already attached. Once on site welders will finish the puzzle by adding a flat steel bottom. When I worked in the fertilizer industry we had 4 large tanks built for us like this... One was 1,000,000 gallons... Another was 500,000 gallons... And the last 2 were 250,000 gallons. All of them were 30 feet tall. The largest tank had enough room inside you could have nearly placed a truck and 53' trailer inside and drove it in a tight circle.
How would you secure this?

So... would duct tape work?
Asking for a friend.
FerrissWheel, cke and 062 Thank this. -
You could always do it x1 style. He has a post around here about freezing a coil to the deck. Of course you’ll have to wait for winter

make sure you put protection under your straps, or the next post will be how do you pick these things up. I think I would use chain because of the sheet metal edges.FerrissWheel, Wespipes, cke and 1 other person Thank this.

Id have made the shipper flip that stuff over. Ive hauled curved panels that are used to make storage tanks, but I hauled them u shape facing up. Also chained them.

Well delivered it today. Reciver was baffled as to why it was like that. He said we always ship the upside down. Said "bet that was a fun load"xsetra, HillbillyDeluxeTruck, Speed_Drums and 2 others Thank this.

I think if it honestly did weigh 48k then you’d be overweight, or dang near anyway; my truck weighs 30k and some change when empty, or should I say with my fat ### in itD.Tibbitt Thanks this.
