DTL out of sanford, you might want to give them a try. LCT out of opahumka something like that.lol. I called SWIFT and they tell me Florida is one of the worst states for hiring. Wasnt sure what that meant and said thanks and good bye.

Thanks for this information. Greatly Appreciated!

Pepsi keeps posting for drivers but wont call or respond to your call. UPS is the same way.

Early this year I applied to Pepsi and after a couple of months of waiting and thinking they did not want to talk to me, I finally went for an interview and then a road test.

I declined the position and this is why, the job is part-time (which I was aware of) however it is 3 days a week maximum and I was told that they could not do any more than 3 days because it would be considered full time and they cannot do that. He said that I could expect 1 or 2 days a week and he also said that he had drivers who only had this job and were phoning him all the time for more work - that got me thinking. The pay is mileage based - 36cpm. which is not bad if you are getting the miles, but 1 or 2 days a week..not worth it in my opinion.

When I ask about the opportunity of going on as a full-time driver, he bascially said that someone has to die first and even then I would be too far down the list, he said I would have a better chance at a fulltime position working at the warehouse.:biggrin_25523:

This was my experience with them..I am not saying they are bad, but when a company is constantly advertising there has be some reason behind it.
