Lol. Idk why people are so quick to go out on there own when im getting paid 150/day to learn how to not screw up.
Maybe I'll update weekly once on my own for a while...

Here's something I discovered that wasn't taught to us in orientation... The big wrench used to tighten seals that has about an 18 inch handle...id say is about 4 or 5 in wide??

Well today I couldn't tighten it bc of the way the nut was positioned on there and the way the valve handle was positioned. So I tell my trainer and what do you know, theres a snall handled one just for that reason.

Good thing I got into that bind BEFORE going on my own. I asked him, "Where do you get that?" He said, "You buy it." I asked him what size it was but he wasnt sure...anyone know? How about you, Mr. "I've been here a year, ask me ask me"? Lol

Yall OGs might think duhhhh but to someone completely new to food grade, we don't know this stuff. So im going to have to find one of those. If I have to order it, idk how im supposed to go on my own with tools ill need but don't have. That RB could have came in handy...all well.

I don't run pump trailers so not really much to train on. About the only training I found I needed but didn't receive was how to enter the correct info at the fuel pumps.

Oic, yeah that makes more sense...

From what I hear, a lot of people, depending where they are stationed or located at, dont pump to often.

I live in the dirty South and hear you do more pumping down there. But you know me, 25 bucks to pump for an hour or 2 is perfectly fine with me. Pay me my money sucka.

I wasn’t going to post this. I don’t like speaking about pay. I don’t have anything to hide but I feel like it’s rude to talk about pay. Either way, here’s a typically work week. I worked 6 1/2-7 days.

I’d post last weeks but I got bonus that week. This is a full work week w/o any kind of bonuses.

    Some side notes:
I don’t get paid mileage. I have a different pay package.
My wife & kids aren’t on my medical insurance. I’m paying for just me.
I elected for the “premium” dental insurance. Tooth problems suck.
I elected for the highest amount of accidental dismemberment & life insurance w/o a physical. I’m 23 & I could pass a physical if I needed too but I just don’t have the time when I’m home.

    Muttsley and Redtwin Thank this.

I didn’t post anything about referral bonuses.
But I’ll be sure to use that referral bonus you gave me to buy the things needed to keep up with the maintenance of my APU since that’s apparently a problem. Thanks bud

In the interest of others I will no longer entertain your sneak disses on a public forum so the mods don’t shut the thread down & people who have questions can get answers.

If you some deep rooted issues with me bc I wouldn’t split a referral bonus with you when you get the same amount of money on your sign on bonus & I don’t even know you then you have my phone number & you can call me. Or you can come see me in Savannah & we can handle it like men. If you won’t do either, then you need to let it go.

Regardless, I have no idea what wrench you’re talking about. Oakley gave me the same monkey wrench they gave you & that‘s all I’ve ever used. From the sound of your post, your trainer is either Simon or Mike. Both are good guys. Ask them where you can get that specific wrench.

Edit: after thinking about it more I think I know what wrench you’re talking about. It’s a mini version of the one they give you. They used be hanging inside of the pump cabinet on the left side on the newer trailers. It’s been 7 months or so since I’ve pulled a liquid load so I have no idea if they’re all still there. Drivers could have stolen them all out.

I knew about my sign on bonus. Should have made your intentions clear when I told you my plans. But no hard feelings about the RB. I did think calling all the new guys hot garbage was a little uncalled for personally. But whatever. No interest in calling or meeting you to settle any thing if your really being serious.

Yeah, my trainer is a good guy but he didn't know the exact size.
