States that allow electronic copies of permits

    There’s nowhere to sign on any Kentucky Permit I’ve ever had.

    Alaska will accept it on a phone, and print it out for you if you want to. Yukon and bc I always just called and got the permit number, gave it to them when or if I crossed an open scale and they would print me one.

    Nebraska has accepted electronic permits for a while, now.

    You can update that to Ohio allowing electronic copies, I believe the date was April 14th that they made this change.

    Alabama it must be a paper copy in your vehicle and it must be signed in red ink .

    Last time I went through there I didn't have a red pen so I signed it in blue or black and highlighted it.... they checked my permit and he let me go.

    Ohio is accepting electronic permits as of this year i believe. Thats what we are using but luckily haven't had the opportunity to find out from diesel bear
