Portland is the town you want to be careful of. Nightly rioting in various areas of downtown. Plan to cruise through in the day when the terrorists are sleeping.tommymonza Thanks this.

I haven't been to Seattle recently.
Was in Chicago last night, or the western half of it. All quiet.
Will be in central Minneapolis area tomorrow, and St. Paul.
I've seen some videos on the youtubes that show mobs swarming 18 wheelers, so I know the riots are a thing. But for the most part I agree with @Redtwin
Just go about your business. It will be fine. Be aware of your surroundings, but we should be like that anyway.fishlikeme, homeskillet and Redtwin Thank this. -
When I made this comment I was speaking as a 62-year-old disabled man. Back in my 20s and 30s I most likely would have taken an on-ramp to hell to make any pick-up or delivery, using my tire thumper and a firearm for protection. Today, I am more about simply staying away from even the chance of a confrontation. This is why I would not go within 100 miles of these current hot zones!homeskillet, tommymonza, truckguy391 and 3 others Thank this. -
As I rapidly approach 50 I'm no young hotshot either, in fact I would agree with anyone who would call me a coward for avoiding any kind of confrontation.
I will be the first to hightail it at the first sign of any trouble. The thing is, apart from on TV, I honestly have not seen any, anywhere.homeskillet, tommymonza and Tb0n3 Thank this. -
BLM supporters are calling the looting of the Magnificent Mile reparations. They say that these insurance companies have plenty of money, so that makes it ok.
homeskillet and tommymonza Thank this. -
I had a feeling the word "coward" would show up in some form. I also understand what you said and know fully you did NOT call me a coward. I am just expressing a thought though. I had to let a kid near me know a while back there was a HUGE difference between reluctance to fight and cowardice! I made it clear to that kid how much of a mistake it was to misunderstand me. Where I currently live before this COVID thing I was out a lot. I have a lot of "punks" in this area that sees me as a helpless victim. Unless I am going to the VA hospital I keep a WASP knife on me! I also have a nice shiny new P-320.tommymonza and Speed_Drums Thank this.

So i made my delivery in Minneapolis. The city is all quiet right now but you can tell its licking its wounds.
About every other business is boarded up. Theres road construction everywhere. Tons of graffiti. And piles of rubble where buildings used to be that were torched.
You would see boarded up windows and doors with "kids live here. Please dont burn" spray painted on it.
Some parts of that place looked like inner city Detroit. It was a nice town.homeskillet and tommymonza Thank this. -
I’d prefer to deliver there before Pt. Camden NJ or some areas in Chicago or Atlanta

Portland was a beautiful place many years ago .... so sad when a certain political party gets its way.tommymonza Thanks this.
