I've been noticing a trend. "Professional" drivers putting up sun shades on their drivers side window. Some even have their privacy curtain pulled up so far I don't know how they safely operate their equipment. I mean I understand not everyone looks good. But most of us are used to seeing ugly drivers. There's no need to hide.
Window shade?

Can see through the shades very well and can see the rear view mirror clearly.
You'll understand when your doctor tells you that surgery is required on your face and eye; ask me how I know that.
Some drivers wear fingerless gloves while driving and that prevents skin cancer and brown spots on the back of the hands. Those brown spots are not "age spots", they're pre-cancerous skin cells caused from sun exposure.
Company drivers don't have a choice as to what type glass the truck has, but has the option of using a shade. Shades are spring loaded and easy to roll up before crossing scales.Last edited: Aug 12, 2020

This leads to your left side aging more quickly, with signs of thickening skin, thick wrinkles, and premature aging. The constant exposure to the sun that your face is seeing through the driver’s side window, along with some from the front windshield, is allowing the harsh rays to penetrate right into your skin’s top two layers. The sun is known to be harmful, and it emits two rays that can harm your health.

Guess I chose the wrong way to protect my skin. Long sleeve UV blocking shirts and organic sunscreen. Probably cost more but I can see out my mirror and have less blind spots.
Just think of all the seat covers those drivers are missing.RockinChair, Another Canadian driver and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
