Ramps and Curves

Hi,

What’s the best way to take ramps and curves? For curves if need be I slow down before I enter the curve and if I’m well under the speed limit I accelerate coming out of it; off ramps seem to be a bit of a problem for me because I don’t think I have the right plan of attack; I’m nervous about slowing down too much on the interstate for fear of someone running into my arse end, so instead I used to start slowing down just before and continue to as I’m exiting but I now see this was dangerous because going from 65 mph to let’s say 30mph isn’t an easy task when you’re about to run out of real estate; now I like to signal under half a mile if possible my intention of exiting, start winding down sooner and then take the exit. How do you like to overcome these obstacles?

I forgot to mention entering the interstate, but that’s a good idea; I always hammer down if the on ramp is straight, or after the curve so that I can slip right in

 

I got a call from safety awhile back about some sensor on the truck going off that trips when I guess you’re turning too fast, said I was doing good other than that, just trying to improve in that regard; reason why I’ve been nervous to slow down on the interstate is because I watched a truck riding another one’s arse, guy goes to exit slowing down too fast for the guy behind him to slow down enough and he got lucky because he changed lanes; I think what happened was the dude in front failed to signal in advance and the other guy following too closely

 

Lol dang it i was humble enough to come here for help and you run me through the back with a sword, jk; even though you were joking I’ll point out the posted speed limits are for regular traffic and not big trucks, just to show I’m not totally incompetent
