Meanwhile You guys are sittin on your hood with your shirt unbuttoned drinking a nice cold Schlitz tryin to cool off and grab a few rays while your at it. LolLoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains, lovesthedrive and 2 others Thank this.

Well not quite warm enough to have the shirt in buttoned... But close. Lol
Last winter I got a good laugh... Was at a rest area in eastern WY, 20° and just a very slight breeze. The Swift driver that was parked beside me climbs out of his truck looking like the Michelin Man!! Like full Arctic gear from the snow boot, to the fur lined hood of his supper poofy insulated coat. Even had snow pants and gloves to match the coat.
He gets out walks once around his truck, then heads into the rest area building. Nearly an hour later he comes back to his truck... Seemed like an awful lot of work getting suited up like that to walk 150 feet to un suit so one can use the can, then suit up again to walk that same 150 back to the truck and un suit.... SMHJolliRoger, LoSt_AgAiN, Dave_in_AZ and 6 others Thank this. -
God I hated the cold and the dry air being down in Florida humidity for 35 years.
Recently Did 3 years of winter back up in my home state of Michigan,2 of them trucking.
Weather around Lake Michigan Suks And Blows.
Looking forward to trucking out west someday.

And the way most people suit up is ridiculous
I drove most winters in my shorts because their comfortable and I had to run the truck heat and webasco bunk heater full blast all the time to keep the windshield and side windows defrosted in -20 in Wisconsin.
Western stars are great trucks but their defrost systems suk.
Nothing like driving down a 3 lane highway with both side windows frosted over and frozen so you can’t roll them down.LoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains, lovesthedrive and 2 others Thank this. -
Where the he’ll is that in Australia?LoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains, lovesthedrive and 1 other person Thank this.
