In the history of mankind 2 things are undefeated.....(1) time (2) water. What would possess an engineer to on purpose mount a computer module where the elements rain, snow, salt, dirt etc. can get to so easily? Just my mechanic rant for the day.

Well, if we are ranting....why have a electronic module for lighting to start with? Something that can suddenly leave you without headlights at 70 or 80mph out in the middle of nowhere with a load on that is tired, thirsty and needs to be off the trailer before they start losing the will to live.... and oh yeh, what about the good old days when you could watch free air tv during a storm without loss of hd signal? May not have been the perfect picture but it beat nothing. And we use to have a pretty inexpensive electromechanical gadget call a VCR that you could press a button or two and record anything you could watch on said tv- free or pay. ... Electronics own us now.... They call it progress..Sorry for the OT rant. :(:banghead:
