Stay away from Colorado, if you can. They have I-70 closed and sending everybody south down 24, then 285, and west on 50. Over 100 mile detour. Traffic is plugged, to say the least. I'm sure we'll hear of more than one trucker burning out their brakes on Monarch Pass. I was following a tanker on 285, clearly loaded, tailgating, everytime he mashed the brakes, big cloud of smoke,,,nice.MACK E-6 and Dale thompson Thank this.

What’s happening on 70?

They're fighting wildfires down that way.

The weed is burning there. We’re going to have a lot of ? About failed drug tests. All I did was drive through Colorado and now I tested positive for thc.

I bet someone has already tried that. You know, before I moved here, I thought like many others, bunch of burnouts running into stuff, but I have to say, it's very subdued. I see people that are clearly straight doing much worse things. It can't be done outdoors, or in public, must be in the trunk of cars and big fines for offenders. Cops have a field day sitting outside dispensaries, watching people get in their cars, then stopping them for a license plate light out. Kind of ironic, money taken in helped buy that new Ford SUV cruiser they're driving. Colorado simply can't turn it's back on the almost $300 million dollars it pumps into the economy every year. Where that money goes is the real crime,,,Dale thompson Thanks this.

Will do. I haven't been West of St. Louis since May. I'm kind of shocked at the recommended detours. All the way down 285 to 50?? I guess I'm blessed that's not my problem anymore.

We just had some rain come through, hopefully that helps. Yeah, they closed the passes( Independence?) by Vail because the traffic was too heavy, so ran them all the way down here. Back roads too, people taking dirt roads,, you know, I lived in Wisconsin for 62 years, and I thought the Badger had their heads in their rears, but Colorado takes the cake,,,I want to go "home".
